Military Background.

Ron spent three years in the United States Army, where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant E-6. He was honorably discharged at Ft.Campbell, KY. 

While stationed at Ft. Campbell, he was a Drill Instructor, where he was involved in the training of new recruits during the eight week Army Basic Combat Training Course. 

He also served a tour in Viet Nam with the First Infantry Divisions "Big Red One". 

He attended the Army's Drill Instructor Academy at Ft. Jackson, S.C. 

He received his Advanced Infantry Training at Ft. Gordon, Ga. and received his Basic Combat Training at Ft. Bragg, N.C.
